Lion Cubs now in primary yard

January 22, 2016

Lion cubs on exhibit_554x250Denver Zoo’s adventurous lion cubs, Kalu and Kamara, have been introduced to the primary yard of Benson Predator Ridge! Guests can expect to see the brother and sister outside, along with the rest of the pride, in either the primary or maternity yards, virtually any time the weather is above freezing temperatures – from opening until 4 p.m., though the pride is not expected to be viewable on January 26. When the weather is chilly, they will have indoor access to warm up. Kalu and Kamara were born last September to Sango and Neliah, marking the first birth of cubs at the Zoo since 2006.
