Jewish Grandparent University is a wonderful class for soon-to-be or recent grandparents. It’s an open discussion format that provides a great way for grandparents to talk about “best practices”for supporting their children in becoming parents.
Helping grandparents and grandparents-to-be learn ways to support your children in becoming parents for the first time, while passing on Jewish family values and traditions. Facilitated by Dr. Daniel Hettleman, Ph.D., P.C. This class is a great experience for both first time grandparents and grandparents having their second or third grandchild. It provides a wonderful opportunity to talk with other grandparents and help open lines of communications for one and all.You can learn more about the class here:
About the Teacher
Dr. Daniel Hettleman, Ph.D., P.C., comes to the JCC as a graduate of Jewish Baby University, 2001 and has 3 wonderful children who have all attended the JCC ECC and Camp Shai. He is a psychologist in private practice since 2000, providing family therapy, couples and individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Psychology Department at the University of Denver, as an instructor to graduate students learning Family Therapy, and supervise their clinical cases. Daniel created the curriculum for Jewish Grandparent University and is passionate about facilitating this process
