The game is afoot, but all is not what it seems. Step into Victorian London and test your powers of observation as you work alongside the world’s most famous detective in “The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes.” The experience combines science and history to bring to life the era vividly portrayed in the beloved Sherlock Holmes stories. Surcharge and timed ticket required.
The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes will test your powers of observation. Science and history combine, bringing to life the Victorian era vividly portrayed in the beloved Sherlock Holmes stories, masterminded by physician-turned-author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The game is a foot! Work side by side Sherlock Holmes, testing your powers of observation and interpretation. Conduct forensic tests to unlock a message from Sherlock himself to shed light on a mysterious crime scene.
A parent or adult is the best judge as to whether The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes will be engaging for their child; however, here are some factors to consider:
- The exhibition revolves around using interactives to gather clues and involves in-depth reading and applying some analytical thinking.
- The experience includes studying a re-created crime scene and trying experiments that a younger child could potentially enjoy with the guidance of an adult or older child or teen.
- The exhibition was created in the spirit of the original Sherlock Holmes mysteries, so the setting reflects the energy and creativeness of the Victorian Era as well as its more gritty underbelly and shady characters.
Note: We anticipate high attendance of school groups during weekday morning hours. If you desire a less crowded experience, we recommend visiting in the afternoon.
