The Denver Center for Performing Arts just released its lineup for the 2017/18 season, and it’s a good one.
Broadway’s smash hit Hamilton headlines the schedule with a long run in March of 2018. Lin-Manuel Miranda’s story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton features a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway. His portrayal of early America as told in present America is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Hamilton.
Other Broadway favorites making a stop in Denver include The King and I, Les Miserables, Chicago and The Book of Mormon.
